AC Lamplight Youth Theatre Staff
Cyndie Koetting begins her sixth year as the director of the AC Lamplight Youth Theatre Company.
Cyndie spent 12 years in professional theatre as a prop artisan, subscription manager and fundraising manager. In addition to working for five professional regional theatres, Cyndie has booked and run spotlight for numerous musical groups, built furniture for the Broadway production of HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING and has applied make-up for the World Wrestling Federation.
Cyndie has a vision for this program. "I am amazed at the talent of these young people. I want the residents of Amarillo to know our name, and I want them to see our productions based on our reputation for bringing quality performances to the stage. Educationally, I am excited that we are expanding our classes and enrollment each year. This year we are adding Stage Management, Costume Design, Stage Make-up and Playwriting classes. It is our hope to fully educate the youth of Amarillo in all areas of theatre.
With the incredible help and dedication she receives from the Amarillo Children's Theatre Guild, Cyndie is extremely thankful and confident that this program will continue to soar.
